I have this weird point of view - that you created your body in a nanosecond of consciousness.

Which means it is a source of consciousness for you.

Instead, we’re brought up learning to judge our bodies - for them to be a source of judgment.

But, judgment is one of the most unkind things we can do in the universe.

It’s responsible for control.
It’s how we have been taught to attempt to order our lives, instead of allow them to be the miraculous chaos that they are.

Our bodies are inviting us to be the chaotic elements of possibilities and miracles that we actually are.

I’m going to tell you a secret tool for helping you on your consciousness journey.

You won’t find it in a manual or classic self-help books.

But, if you’ve taken a class with me then you’ve probably heard me say it (but have you actually done it? 😉😉)

And, if you haven’t taken a class with me, well you can still play with it, too.

In most of my bigger classes and creations, when I get a sense of the huge energetic disruption and ripples the class is creating, I tell people to set a reminder in their phone for in 6 months.

Literally.

I tell them to create a reminder in their calendar for in 6 months that says “What has changed since the ______ class?”

Why?

Because we get so in the thick of life and living that we don’t always notice all the ripples of change that are quietly infusing themselves through every moment of our lives.

And, here’s the real kicker: if you don’t acknowledge the change and what is showing up…it’s like it’s not happening.

If you don’t take the moment to acknowledge you, then you have to go back and try to prove it all over again.

Acknowledgment is an ESSENTIAL part of this self growth journey.

So, my friend - set a reminder on your phone!
You can set it for 6 months after a class, but you can also just set one for every couple of months as a check in.  “What has changed since…?”

Trust me, you will thank me when that little reminder goes off on your phone and you get to acknowledge.

Acknowledge ALL the things - minuscule and massive.
And, then keep asking for more and striving towards the possibilities you know are out there just waiting for you.

Judgment is one of the biggest killers of joy there is.

Whether we are judging us or someone else, it doesn’t matter.

But here’s the good news we don’t have to choose it. We don’t have to live our lives from the realm of judgment anymore.

It might take a little bit to break this pattern, but every little bit of lightness that you gain along the way is a gift.

Because you start to realize it’s actually possible to live beyond judgment.

So often on this self-growth journey we create a utopian ideal or fantasy of what we think it will look like.

And, when our experiences don’t match up with how we think it should be…well, then things get interesting!

We…
Doubt ourselves.
Think we must be doing it wrong.
Give up.

So, let’s dive in:
1 - You’re Never Going to Get ‘There’
Sorry kids, there is no arrival. Life is a constant unfolding, shifting, changing and learning dynamic.

If you think that some day you will arrive at the ultimate zen of awareness and that your journey will be done…well, then every time you move through a new area of growth it’s really easy to judge yourself.

Acknowledge that it is all a journey and it is the journey, not the destination that truly matters.

✨✨✨✨

2 - There’s Nothing to Fix
AKA, you are not wrong. No matter where you are at in your life, what you have or have not achieved there is nothing wrong with you.

You’re amazing. This journey isn’t about judging yourself into a “better” or “good” version of you.

It’s about constantly expanding and learning. If you are aware of other possibilities than what you are currently choosing or experiencing - awesome!

Let them guide you, but you don’t have to judge yourself to get there.

3 - Things ARE Gonna Get Messy
Growth is all about going *beyond* where you are currently at. I know, crazy concept. 😉

That means getting out of your comfort zone.
It means choosing and doing things you’ve never done before.

No one is graceful all the time.

In fact, it is our choices that create awareness. Not just the choices that work out. Even the “failures” show us what we would like to create insetead.

You are brave and magical and a gift.
This journey is not for the faint of heart.
